A friend summed up Pelican Pines Lakehouse perfectly: “Vail meets the Northwoods.” Whatever time of year you visit, whether there’s a fresh fall of deep snow for cozy winter weekends or the perfect summer breeze by the water’s edge, The Lakehouse is designed with one thing in mind: being together with friends and family in total comfort.

Inside you’ll find a modern take on cabin comfort with furnishings from Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware and Wisteria as well as floor to ceiling windows, a towering river stone fireplace and enough room for your party to spread out in total relaxation. Play a game of shuffleboard, light a fire or put the professional chef’s kitchen to work.

EAT

The kitchen at Pelican Pines Lakehouse is a chef’s dream: professional grade appliances, butcher block prep counters and every tool, dish or appliance you could possibly need to create the perfect family meal or dinner party.

Whether you’re getting extended family together or escaping the city with friends, gather around an over-sized rustic farmhouse table with wicker seating and accompanying island that together comfortably seat up to 15 guests. Enjoy leisurely breakfasts as the lake light pours in or intimate candlelit dinners. And if you prefer dining al fresco, tables on the giant outside deck provide ample seating for the whole group.

SLEEP

Pelican Pines, with its 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, accommodates 14 guests comfortably and is designed for total relaxation. Rooms are situated so that every guest has their own space but they’re never so far away as to feel isolated. A master bedroom and guest bedroom are on the main floor, two additional guest rooms on the lower walk out level and a separate staircase off the laundry room/mud area leads to a fun bunk room over the garage which is fully heated and air conditioned. Every bedroom features hotel quality linens and bedding perfect for afternoon naps or long restful nights.

PLAY

There’s always something to do at Pelican Pines Lakehouse. A tree-lined walk leads to one hundred feet of private lakeshore, sugar sand beach and crystal clear water ideal for boating, kayaking or swimming. Play volleyball, organize a game of soccer or take any of the kayaks and paddle boards out onto the water. There’s even a pontoon boat for rental ready at the dock.

Pelican Pines is also fully stocked for indoor fun. Choose from shuffleboard, ping-pong, air hockey and darts. Grab a board game or a book. Or just relax and watch a movie on one of the property’s large screen TV’s.

INSIDE

  • The 5,100 square foot home sleeps 14+ guests with multiple, separate private areas: 5 bedrooms including 2 king-sized bedrooms, 1 queen-sized bedroom, 1 twin-bedroom with 2 single beds and a large bunkhouse with 6 twin beds.
  • It has 3.5 bathrooms, including a master with a jetted tub.
  • The 'chef's' kitchen features a 48' range, 64' refrigerator, 2 dishwashers, 2 sinks,  all glassware, china and utensils, and an oversize island.
  • A recreation room with a full bar area has an air hockey table, ping pong table, shuffleboard, and darts, plus books, puzzles and numerous board games for all ages.
  • There are 4 flat screen mounted TV’s, DVD players and DVD library, Dish network and hi-speed Wi-Fi.
  • It has built in speakers in the lower level and a Bose sound system in the Great room, plus outside speakers on the deck.

  • There is a laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers plus all supplies.

OUTSIDE

  • This newly renovated home sits on 100 ft. of flat lakeshore with a sugar sand beach and clear water with a hard sand bottom.
  • A Lakeside deck runs the entire width of the house and has a gas grill, sectional seating area and 2 dining tables that seat 16+.
  • A gorgeous manicured lawn connects the Lakehouse to the beach and has a large boulder fire pit and lots of room for group sports, with equipment provided for basketball, soccer and volleyball.
  • A pine-tree lined walk leads to a new 100ft+ dock with an 8'x10' 'sun deck' at the end of the dock.
  • A paddle boat, water boards, and 2 kayaks are provided free of charge as well as various life jackets varying in size from child to adult. A pontoon boat is also available to rent.
  • There is a three car garage with additional parking.
